I have been asked why I started the Kenya Orphan Rescue Project, or KOREP.  I  saw the need to begin this Mercy Mission Project of uniting with Brethren and friends from all over the world, so that together we can extend our Hearts and Helping Hands to Orphans and Street Children in Kenya, after being so much challenged and touched by the characteristic love and mercy heart of Jesus Christ.  Jesus demonstrated a great love to children and the poor in society, during his entire ministry assignments on Earth. He was the Savior and Lord for the poor, for the blind, for the lame, for the sinners, and for the hungry (Mt 9:36). Indeed in all his duties, Jesus kept the attitudes of love (1Cor 13:13), taught His disciples to abide in love, so as to be fruitful (John 15:15) and above all He urged them to love one another always (John 15:17).

Mother Teresa of Calcutta once said, “Love in action is seeing a need and doing something about it.” This philosophy has touched so many people in the World including the late Princess Diana of Wales, Nelson Mandela of South Africa (even as he celebrated his 90th Birthday), the musician celebrity Madonna, Sister Oprah Winfrey, Nwanko Kano the Soccer player from Nigeria who started a Heart Foundation, plus so many others in the world, who saw the need to establish Foundations, Charitable Organizations, Trusts, etc., aimed at enhancing Projects that target on improving the living conditions of the poor and the needy in the society. I started this project, in Kenya, with the free will contribution of my little funds and the other Church Members contributions, with an aim of at least supporting 5 orphaned children, who had lost their parents due to HIV/Aids. As of now, the project has grown up, and has over 100 plus children in our Help Need Program, but still living with their guardians. Nevertheless, our vision is to help 100 plus children, if God will be with us towards meeting their basic needs, and we intend to place them in a Children's Home, that we intend to build in the future.  Just in case we identify sponsors who will be willing to assist us in this dream. Note that since I began this Project, the Lord has not yet connected me to Friends and Foundations, Sponsors, Trusts, Partners, etc. who are willing to hold my hands as we go ahead with this dream of assisting the children. Therefore my appeal, or prayer, is that if you could be touched within your heart and you may wish to Network, Partner, or just send your help, however little, then just contact us please. All the same, any Sponsor can send his help either financially or materially to these Orphans or any Orphan of his choice. With a contribution of US$40 every month, the Child can be able to at least meet the main basic needs. We also accept donation Packages or Gift Boxes in form of food, shoes, clothes, medical kits, and more, aimed at helping these Orphan Children. Please welcome!
